David Stenbeck’s Digital Artwork Featured in Times Square
February 2020 - New York, New York
Jenn Singer is pleased to announce that Swedish digital 3D artist David Stenbeck’s animated work “UltraHavn” is being featured in New York City’s Times Square through the month of February, as presented by Lightbox and in collaboration with ZAZ10TS.
David Stenbeck’s (aka @dovneon’s) digital cloud animation, along with work by 13 other emerging and established digital artists, brings contemporary digital art to the Times Square neighborhood and is designed to juxtapose a calming theme of nature with the surrounding concrete structures and hustle-bustle of Times Square.
Jenn Singer is “thrilled to collaborate on this new initiative with Lightbox and ZAZ10TS – when we bring contemporary art to the public sphere with a platform like this, we have the chance to add joy, curiosity and interest to an unsuspecting passerby’s day. The chance of that unexpected connection to art is a beautiful opportunity”.
ZAZ10TS is an ongoing cultural initiative that integrates art into the office building at 10 Times Square and works with a variety of organizations bringing cultural enrichment to the Times Square area. “ZAZ Corner”, the digital gallery showcasing the artwork, is located at the corner of 41st Street and 7th Avenue in New York City, and the billboard features a large LED, digitally activated screen featuring Stenbeck’s work.
